I was invited to attend this exciting shoot at the beginning of june at thornton manor organised by Cathryn Kerwin-Rawlinson from www.madeupbycathryn.co.uk to provide the gowns and accessories and to be part of a behind the scenes style photo-film provided by paul kyte photography for the day. The dream team featured myself and Cathryn and we also had the great pleasure of on set hairstylist Duncan fisher and model Bethany Cammack who like cathryn and myself are both award winners .. we really felt excited to be working together at such a special venue and were looking forward to seeing the final images and photo-film once edited!.
The weather was glorious and perfect for the shoot , we managed to get some amazing images at various hand picked locations in the grounds chosen by paul and some stunning photo-film both inside the manor and outside.
We were looking to recreate a 1920-30’s feel to the shoot and of course bethany cammack was the perfect model to bring this look to life.
The gowns chosen lent themselves to this era , heavily set beaded glamour and floaty romantic chic mixed with traditional lace, dramatic veils and headpieces to compliment the whole picture.
Make-up and hair dressed the style for the shoot perfectly also adding drama with smoky eyes red lips and marcel waves , beth wore the whole look like she’d been zapped from the past right into the shoot.
I’ve added a few images and the photo-film to the blog..hope you enjoy – we had an amazing time , we hope it helps bring some inspiration to your plans for your special day too!
